Welcome the the Buffs Running Club.
The 'Buffalo Road Runners' Club (the Buffs) of East London South Africa, has deservedly earned its reputation as one of the most prestigious in Southern Africa since its formation on March 23, 1973.
Two annual events have ensured the Buffs a significant place in the history of road running in the sub-continent.
The first is the very well known and well supported BUFFS MARATHON, starting 3kms outside Mcleantown and finishes at the Buffs Club.
The second is the Washie 100 miler, starting in Port Alfred and finishes at the Buffs Club in East London.
We would like to thank Old Mutual for their continued sponsorship of the Buffs Marathon, without which this race would not have been possible.
